UK Zone 1 Region 2 Hosts Successful Fundraiser for 5 Billion Campaign
Members of UK Zone 1 Region 2 came together on Sunday, 26 May 2024, to host The Big Sale, a vibrant fundraising event in support of the ongoing 5 Billion Campaign, which ran throughout 2024.
The event was a lively community affair, drawing participation from members across the zone as well as members of the public. Attendees turned out in numbers to support the initiative, which was centred on a unique concept: individuals contributed personal items—including clothes, shoes, bags, and home essentials—for sale at affordable prices. In addition to shopping, guests enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, with games organised for both children and adults.
The Big Sale not only generated significant funds toward the campaign goal but also fostered a strong sense of community and shared purpose.
